Condition: Excellent with only small signs of age. The upholstery is in remarkable condition given its age, with very little signs of use. It is also worth noting that only one of the small screw hole covers on the backs of the frames is missing in the whole set, something which can be common with this model of chair.
Description: A striking set of 6 Danish ‘Model 49’ dining chairs, designed by Erik Buch and manufactured by O.D. Møbler. The chairs are upholstered in the original Oatmeal coloured and pin striped Wool fabric, with plenty of cushioning to the seat bases and backrests. The Model 49 design is defined by the chairs elegant shape, with floating seat pads, and subtle exposed joints to the frame. All frames are strong and sturdy, and the original manufacturers sticker can be found to the undersides of the chairs. Purchased in Denmark, these design classics are original pieces of Mid-Century furniture.
