Description: A stylish and unique set of 4 Danish 1960s ‘Razorblade’ dining chairs, designed by Henning Kjaernulf and manufactured by EG Mobler. Please note we also have another set of 4 of these dining chairs which are all identical to these, and are available upon request. This model of chair as well as other pieces by Kjaernulf, is named the ‘Razorblade’ due to the backrests shape and resemblance to an actual razorblade. The seat bases of the chairs are upholstered in genuine Brown Leather with new padding internally. The frame shape and design is very much a mixture of a traditional Gothic style meets Mid Century Modern, this making Henning Kjaernulfs designs very unique for the time. The frames are produced from Oak and are rich in colour, supported by four moulded legs to each corner below. The chairs are also formally from a Copenhagen based hotel, and are all stamped underneath marking the property of the hotel. Purchased in Denmark, these design classics are original piece of Mid Century furniture.
