Description: A striking set of four Danish Circa 1960, ‘Model 31’ dining chairs by renowned designer Kai Kristiansen, and manufactured by Schou Andersen. The chairs appear to be newly upholstered in a good quality Black faux Leather with a padded seat base and curved upholstered backrest, this giving a snug support when sat. Typically the majority of Danish dining chairs from this era are upholstered in faux over natural Leather, due to it being far more durable to staining and easier to clean. The chairs are raised upon there iconic open Teak ‘A’ frames, commonly associated with this model, with warm grains, another sign of the excellent Schou Andersen quality. Purchased in Denmark, these design classics are original pieces of Mid Century furniture.
