Description: An excellent quality Danish 1980s three seater sofa, designed and manufactured by Mogens Hansen. The sofa is upholstered in genuine and thick Buffalo Leather in a rich Claret Red colour, with thick piping detail around the edges of all cushions, the Leather being a trademark of the Mogens Hansen quality. The piece features eight removable cushions, including a pair of side cushion inserts for extra comfort. The cushions are also fibre filled, creating a plump look and feel. The inward curved arms and profile of the sofa is typically Danish, with this style of sofa being very popular and still produced today, often referred to as the ‘London’ style in Denmark. The sofa is then raised on a heavy Beech wood frame, with four block Beech feet to each corner below. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century Modern furniture.
