Description: A stylish Danish 1980s two seat sofa, in the classic Borge Mogensen style, manufactured by Stouby. The sofa is upholstered in genuine dark Brown coloured, textured Buffalo Leather, the Leather quality being a real trademark of pieces by Stouby. The sofa features four removable cushions as well as the addition of side cushion inserts, with piping detail around all cushions and edges of the sofa. The profile of the sofa, particularly the arms, are reminiscent of the original Mogensen design. The whole piece is raised upon a stained Beech wood frame with four Beech feet below. The typical Stouby manufacturers stitching can also be found underneath all cushions. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
