Description: An excellent quality Danish 1970s, three seater sofa, designed and manufactured by Mogens Hansen, in the famous Borge Mogensen style. The sofa is upholstered in genuine, thick and textured Brown coloured Buffalo Leather, with thick piping detail around the edges of all cushions, the Leather being a trademark of the Mogens Hansen quality. The piece features eight removable cushions, including a pair of side cushion inserts for extra comfort. The profile of the sofa, particularly the stepped arms, are reminiscent of the original Mogensen design. The sofa is then raised on an elegant stained Beech wood plinth base, with four block Beech feet to each corner below. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century Modern furniture.
