Condition: Excellent with small signs of age, in the form of colour variations throughout the piece from use, this creating a nice overall aged patina. There is also the odd small mark to the cushions from age related use.
Description: A very stylish Danish 1960s 2 seat sofa, designed by Svend Skipper and manufactured by Skippers Mobler. The sofa is upholstered in genuine soft Tan Brown coloured Leather, with stitch and button detailing to all cushions, this being a real trademark of the Skippers brand and quality. The piece has a low slung profile, a typical design trait from the Danish sixties era and early Skippers pieces. These particular models of Skippers Sofa are becoming increasingly hard to find, particularly in this sought after colour. The sofa is also raised upon four turned and tapering Beech wood legs. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
