Description: A very stylish Danish Mid Century Modern 2.5 seat sofa, designed and manufactured by Skalma. The sofa is upholstered in genuine and thick Pale Yellow coloured Leather, this colour being extremely uncommon for Danish sofas. The sofa features six removable cushions, all of which are plump and squashy, with the armrest cushions zipping to the frame of the sofa. The piece is typical of sofas designed during the 1980s and 90s in Denmark, with its oversized cushions and simple box frame shape. The Skalma manufacturers tag can be found to the right hand side of the piece, with the whole sofa being raised upon a Beech wood frame, with four turned Beech feet below. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century Modern furniture
