Condition: Overall the chair is in Excellent condition, but with obvious signs of age, in the form of cracking to the surface of the Leather on the arms, most notably on the right hand arm where it is heaviest. There are also some light marks to the sides of the canvas.
Description: A very stylish Swedish 1970s ‘Bore’ lounge chair, designed by Noboru Nakumura and manufactured by IKEA. This particular early IKEA piece is quite rare to find, particularly in the UK. The chair is upholstered in soft light Brown coloured Leather, with button detailing throughout the seating area. The seating position is very comfortable, moulding perfectly around you when sat in. What really sets the chair off, is its striking chromed tubular frame, which contrasts beautifully with the Leather. The chair is then raised upon chromed plastic castors to each corner below. Purchased in Sweden, this design classic is an original pieces of Mid-Century furniture.
