Condition: Very Good with some small signs of age, in the form of faint marks to the upholstery from use. However the upholstery is in excellent shape given the fact it is the original fabric.
Description: A very stylish Danish ‘FD-109’ lounge chair, designed by Ole Wanscher and manufactured by France & Son. Please note we have two of these identical chairs available, with the price shown being for one. The chair is upholstered in a reversible Grey and Black coloured Wool fabric, on the two removable cushions, which are also internally sprung. The chairs have spent most of their life showing the Grey side of the cushions, so there are some small rubbing marks to the Black side where they have been against the frame. Like a lot of Wanscher designs, this model features an elegant open frame, with delicate and sweeping armrests. The piece features sprung webbing to the underside of the base cushion, where the manufacturers badge can also be found. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
