Description: An elegant Danish 1970s Wingback armchair, designed and manufactured by Mogens Hansen of Denmark. The chair is upholstered in genuine, thick and textured, Tan Brown coloured Buffalo Leather, with Leather piping detail around the edges of the arms and all cushions, the Leather being a trademark of the Mogens Hansen quality. The chair features 3 removable cushions, all of which are fibre filled, giving a firm comfort level. The piece features a higher backrest, with head cushion and winged sides for added comfort. The profile and style of the chair is also very reminiscent of the famous ‘Wing Chair’ by Borge Mogensen. The whole piece is then raised upon a Beech wood frame internally, with four stained Beech block feet to each corner below. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
