Condition: Very Good with some signs of age and use, purely in the form of patina to the cushions, in the form of water marks and rubbing. However the leather itself is in excellent condition, with no rips or tears.
Description: An elegant Danish 2.5 seater sofa, designed and manufactured by Mogens Hansen. The sofa is upholstered in genuine and thick, Tan Brown Buffalo Leather, the Leather quality being a trademark of the Mogens Hansen brand. The piece features six removable and large fibre filled cushions, giving a plump and squashy feel. The sofa is very generous for a two seater, and can fit 3 people easily for a more cosy feel, hence the ‘2.5’ seater. The piece features an elegant and exposed natural frame, with slatted Beech detailing to all sides of the sofa, this being a highly popular and typically Danish style which is still produced today. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic in an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
