Designer: Svend Skipper
Manufacturer: Skippers Mobler
Material: Leather upholstery with Beech wood frame
Maximum Dimensions: Width 75cm, Depth 82cm, Height 74cm, Seat Height 43cm and Seat Depth 54cm
Condition: Very Good with small signs of age and use, in the form of slight colour variations and rubbing to the Leather from use, particularly to the armrests. The foam inside the arms has also gone dry with time, meaning the arms are ‘crunchy’ to the touch, but this does not affect them in any way. As a result of this the Leather is also sagging a little on the outer side of the arms. Please note that both cushions have been newly re-foamed, ready for another 60 years.
Description: An elegant Danish 1960s lounge chair, designed by Svend Skipper and manufactured by Skippers Møbler. Please note we also have a matching highback lounge chair available, which can be found in a separate listing. The chair is upholstered in a genuine and soft Green coloured Leather, with subtle button and stitch detailing to all cushions, this being a trademark of the Skippers design and quality. The chair features two removable cushions, and a quintessentially 1960’s style, with its low slung and linear profile. The chair is then raised upon four stained, turned and tapering, Beech wood legs below. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
