Condition: Very Good with small signs of age, in the form of colour variations and rubbing to the Leather from use. There is also some rubbing / marking to both arms (see images). The foam inside the arms has also gone dry with time, meaning the arms are ‘crunchy’ to the touch. Please note that all cushions have been newly re-foamed, so the seat bases are currently quite firm due to the new filling.
Description: A very stylish Danish 1960s three seater Sofa, designed by Svend Skipper and manufactured by Skippers Møbler. Please note we also have matching lounge chairs to accompany this sofa, which will be available shortly, as well as a two seater sofa which can be found in a separate listing. The sofa is upholstered in genuine Cognac Brown coloured Leather, with subtle button and stitch detailing to all cushions, this being a trademark of the Skippers design and quality. The piece features six removable cushions, with the profile of the sofa being quintessentially 1960s, with its low slung and linear design. The sofa is then raised upon a pair of striking metal sleigh supports to each side. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
