Description: A stylish Danish Mid-Century lounge chair, designed by Georg Thams and manufactured by Vejen Polstermøbelfabrik. Please note we have two of these identical chairs available, with the price shown being for one chair. We do also have a matching 3 seater Sofa available in a separate listing. The chair is upholstered in genuine, thick and textured Brown coloured Buffalo Leather, with subtle button detailing to both removable cushions. The backrest cushion is fibre filled, giving a soft feel, with the seat base cushion being quite firm and filled with a dense foam. The chair is raised on a heavy Beech wood frame internally, with four eye catching chromed metal castors to each corner below. The designer and manufacturers label can still also be found to the underside of the seat cushions. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid-Century furniture.
