Description: An elegant Danish 1960s 3 seat sofa. The sofa is upholstered in Green Velour throughout, with subtle Green braiding dividing each of the three seating areas. The piece features a low slung and linear profile, this being typical of Danish seating from the 1960s. The sofa doesn’t feature any cushions, but this is original to the piece as the backrest and seat base are both sprung. The sofa is quite unique in the fact that is is upholstered in Velour rather than Wool or Leather, as this is often the case for earlier Art Deco pieces. The piece is also raised upon four tapering and turned Beech wood feat to each corner. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
