Description: A very stylish Danish 1980s three seat sofa, designed and manufactured by Stouby. The sofa is upholstered in genuine and textured Cognac Brown coloured Buffalo Leather, with thick piping detail around the edges of all cushions, the Leather being a trademark of the Stouby manufacturing quality. The piece features eight removable cushions, including a pair of side cushion inserts for extra comfort. The cushions are also fibre filled, creating a plump feel and look. The inward curved arms and profile of the sofa is typically Danish, with this style of sofa being very popular and still produced today, often referred to as the ‘London’ style in Denmark. The sofa is raised on a Beech wood frame, with four naturally finished block feet to each corner below. The Stouby manufacturing stitching can also be found to the underside of all cushions. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century Modern furniture.
