Description: A very elegant Danish 1960s Bookcase and Sideboard, designed by Johannes Sorth and manufactured by Nexo Mobelfabrik. The piece is finished throughout in a rich and detailed Teak grain. The top section features an open bookcase with 3 fully adjustable shelves. The bookcase sits upon a sideboard below, with a pair of sliding cupboard doors, featuring stylish inset door pulls. Internally there is a single shelf inside the sideboard which is also adjustable. The top and bottom section are also one piece, as this item cannot be split. The whole unit sits upon a Teak plinth base, with four tapering and turned Teak feet to each corner. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
