Condition: Excellent with only small signs of age and use, most notably in the form of fading to the original Brown colour. The Leather now has a more ‘pinkish’ hue, this is most notable around the hidden edges of the Leather (see image).
Description: A stylish Norwegian 1970s ‘Atlantis’ lounge chair, designed by Ebbe Gehl & Søren Nissen, and manufactured by Jeki Mobler. The chair is upholstered in genuine ‘Pinkish’ Brown coloured textured Leather, with a patchwork effect and Leather buttoning to all cushions and arms. The ‘Atlantis’ design is characterized by its striking out swept arms, and metal swivel base which the chair sits upon, contrasting nicely with the Suede outer edges. Purchased in Scandinavia, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
