Description: A very stylish Mid Century Modern Norwegian ‘Metro’ Recliner Armchair, designed and manufactured by Ekornes Stressless. Please note we have two of these identical chairs available, with the price shown being for one. The chair is upholstered in genuine ‘Paloma Black’ Leather, with subtle ‘stud’ detail to the backrest and seat base. The piece features a tilt and recline mechanism, this can be adjusted with the use of knobs to either side of the chair, which also features the ‘Stressless’ manufacturers stamp. The chair is raised upon an elegant Chromed Metal frame, with a very stylish ‘five star’ Metal swivel base below. Purchased in Scandinavia, this design classic is a genuine piece of Mid Century furniture.
