Description: A very stylish Danish 1980s three seat sofa, designed and manufactured by Stouby, in the iconic Borge Mogensen style. Please note we also have two matching lounge chairs to match this sofa, both of which are waiting to be listed. The sofa is upholstered in genuine and very thick Cognac Brown coloured Buffalo Leather, with complimentary thick piping detail around the edges of all cushions, the Leather being a real trademark of the Stouby manufacturing quality. The piece features eight removable cushions, including a pair of side cushions inserts. The profile of the sofa, particularly the stepped arms, are reminiscent of the original Mogensen design. The sofa is then raised on four stained Beech block feet to each corner. The Stouby manufacturers stitching can also be found to the underside of all cushions. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century Furniture.
