Description: A very elegant Danish Art Deco 1930s lounge chair. Please note we have two of these identical chairs available, with the price shown being for one. The chair is upholstered in a striped Green coloured Velour fabric, with subtle contrasting piping around the edges of the piece. This, coupled with its long sweeping arms, gives the typically stylish Art Deco appearance and profile. Like the majority of all Danish Deco pieces, the chair is raised upon a heavy Beech wood frame, with a traditional heavily sprung coil base. The chair also sits upon two cabriole legs to the front, with two plain Beech legs to the rear. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
