Condition: Excellent with only small signs of age, mainly in the form of some fraying to the edges of the piping, although given the chair has its original fabric it is in extremely nice condition.
Description: A very stylish Swedish Art Deco cocktail chair. Please note we have two of these identical chairs available, with the price shown being for one. We also have a matching 3 seater Sofa to accompany these chairs, which can be found in a separate listing. The chair has the unique feature of having two pull out drinks stands from beneath the arms, a quintessential Art Deco feature. The piece is upholstered in a patterned, dark Gold coloured Velour fabric, with subtle contrasting piping detail around the edges of the piece. Like the majority of all Scandinavian pieces designed in the Art Deco era, the chair is traditionally internally sprung, and is raised on a solid and heavy Beech wood frame. All springs are intact and working perfectly. The chair is then raised on four old, but unoriginal, Chromed Metal castors below. Purchased in Sweden, this design classic is an original piece of Art Deco furniture.
