Condition: Good but with obvious signs of age, in the form of dark rubbing to the surface of the Leather on the armrests, as well as a small split in the piping to the front left hand arm, and surface cracking / crazing on two of the seat base cushions (see images).
Description: A stylish Swedish Mid-Century three seater Sofa. Please note we also have a matching lounge chair for this Sofa, which will be listed in the coming weeks. The sofa is upholstered in a vibrant Red coloured Leather upholstery, with subtle button detailing to the backrest cushions. The piece features six removable cushions, all of which are fibre filled, giving them a squashy look and feel. The sofa features a low slung and rounded profile, typical of seating produced in the 1970s. The leather colour contrasts nicely with the dark stained Beech wood frame the sofa is raised upon, with stretcher detailing between the legs below. Purchased in Sweden, this design classic is an original piece of Mid-Century furniture.
