Description: An elegant Danish 1970s lounge chair, designed and manufactured by Mogens Hansen of Denmark. Please note we also have a matching lowback lounge chair as well as a 3 seater Sofa, to accompany this chair, both of which can be found in separate listings. The chair is upholstered in genuine and textured Brown coloured Buffalo Leather, with Leather piping detail around the edges of the arms and all cushions, the Leather being a trademark of Mogens Hansen quality. The piece features a higher backrest, with head cushion and winged sides for added comfort. The profile and style of the chair is also very reminiscent of the famous ‘Wing Chair’ by Borge Mogensen. The whole piece is then raised upon a Beech wood plinth base, with stained Beech block feet to each corner below. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
