Condition: Very Good with small signs of age, most notably a small crack in the Leather to the left hand seat cushion. The rear of the sofa has spent part of its life in direct sunlight, and has therefor gone lighter in colour with a ‘pinkish’ hue.
Description: An elegant Danish Mid-Century 1970s 2 seater Sofa / Loveseat, designed by Rud Thygesen and manufactured by Vejen Polstermøbelfabrik. The sofa is upholstered in genuine, thick and textured Brown coloured Buffalo Leather. The four removable cushions are also down filled, giving a squashy look and feel. The sofa is raised on a heavy Beech wood frame internally, with four slender Oak legs to each corner below. The designer and manufacturers label can still also be found to the underside of the seat cushions. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid-Century furniture.
