Description: A very stylish Swiss 1970s ‘DS-61’ lounge chair, designed and manufactured by De Sede. De Sede is well known for their high quality Leather and Comfort, having had numerous pieces featured in several of the earlier James Bond films, due to their distinct style and design. Please note we also have a matching two seat sofa to accompany this piece, which can be found in a separate listing. The chair is upholstered in genuine and thick Black coloured Leather, with stitch detailing around the edges of the arms and seat cushions. The piece is then raised on a ‘hydrofoil like’ profile, which is iconic to this model, with a pair of slender Beech supports to either side at the bottom of each side. Purchased in Europe, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
