Description: A stylish Danish 1980s Leather lounge chair with footrest, designed by Svend Skipper and manufactured by Skippers Mobler. The chair is upholstered in genuine Black Leather, with subtle stitch detailing throughout, with the seating area of the chair being suspended within the Beech frame by a canvas backing. The chair also features a higher backrest with head cushion for added comfort, as well as a rare built in footrest which can be raised and lowered on a ratchet like system. The chair is then supported by a very stylish cantilevered and bentwood Beech open frame. The Skippers manufacturers label can also be to the underside of the frame. Purchased in Denmark, these design classics are original pieces of Mid Century furniture.
