Description: A very stylish Danish 1980s two seat sofa, designed and manufactured by Stouby. The sofa is upholstered in genuine thick and textured Grey coloured Buffalo Leather, with complimentary thick piping details around the edges of all cushions, the Leather being a trademark of the Stouby manufacturing quality. The Grey colour is quite rare for any Danish leather pieces of this era, in particular the Stouby brand. The piece features six removable cushions, including a pair of side bolsters for added comfort. The profile of the sofa with its outward curved arms is an iconic Danish style, often referred to as the ‘London’ style. The sofa is then raised on four plain and naturally finished Beech block feet to each corner. The Stouby manufacturers label and stitching can also be found to the underside of the cushions. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century Furniture.
