Description: A stylish Norwegian 1980s ‘Siesta’ lounge chair, designed by Ingmar Relling and manufactured by Ekornes. The chair is upholstered in genuine and thick Maroon coloured Leather, with subtle button detailing to the seat and backrest cushions. The piece features Leather strapping for the armrests, with splayed Beech supports to either side below, these both being trademarks of the ‘Siesta’ model. The original Ekornes manufacturers label can also be found to the underside of the frame. Purchased in Scandinavia, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
