Description: A very elegant Danish 1960s Teak desk by Genega Mobler. The desk features unique curved sides with a subtle moulded upstand around the back and sides of the writing surface. The piece is finished in rich coloured Teak throughout, with 6 opening drawers with moulded ‘D’ shaped pulls to the fronts, and a central lockable drawer, although the key is not present but the drawer is unlocked. There is also open shelving space to the rear, with the desk being supported on four tapering Afromosia legs with stretcher detail to the sides. The Genega manufacturers stamp can also be found to the underside of the piece. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
