Description: An iconic set of 5 Danish ‘Model 49’ dining chairs, designed by Erik Buch and manufactured by O.D. Møbler. This particular set is rather uncommon, as often these sets are in Beech or Oak, with these chairs being produced in a beautiful and detailed Rosewood. The chairs are upholstered in their original Oatmeal coloured and pin striped Wool fabric, with plenty of cushioning to the seat bases and backrests. The Model 49 design is defined by the chairs elegant shape, with the floating seat pads, and subtle exposed joints to the frame. All frames are strong and sturdy, and the original manufacturers sticker can be found to the undersides. Purchased in Denmark, these design classics are original piece of Mid Century furniture.
