Condition: Excellent with only small signs of age, in the form of some surface cracking and crazing the front of the right hand arm. The underside of some of the seat cushions have a few old patch repairs to the lining fabric, and two buttons to one cushion have pulled through the lining fabric, although this doesn’t effect them in any way.
Description: A very stylish Danish 1960s 3 seat Sofa, designed by Svend Skipper and manufactured by Skippers Møbler. The sofa is upholstered in genuine soft Red coloured Leather, with the trademark button and stitch detailing to all cushions, this being typical of the Skippers design. The piece is quintessentially 60s, with a an elegant low slung profile and linear edges. The whole piece is raised upon an elegant Beech wood frame with four tapering and turned Beech legs below. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
