Description: An elegant Danish 1980s two seat sofa, designed and manufactured by Stouby. The sofa is upholstered in genuine and thick Cognac Brown coloured Buffalo Leather, with complimentary piping details around the edges of all cushions, the Leather being a trademark of the Stouby manufacturing quality. The piece features six removable cushions, all of which are fibre filled giving a squashy and plump feel, including a pair of side bolsters for added comfort. The profile of the sofa with its outward curved arms is an iconic Danish style, often referred to as the ‘London’ style. The sides of the sofa also feature exposed parts of the frame, adding a nice detail and contrast to the Leather. The sofa is then raised on four stained Beech block feet to each corner. The Stouby manufacturers label and stitching can also be found to the underside of all cushions. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century Furniture.
