Condition: Excellent with only small signs of age, mainly in the form of some faint repairs to the Leather as well as a patch repair and various water marks to the base material of the sofa (see images).
Description: A very stylish Danish 1960s three seat Sofa, designed by Svend Skipper and manufactured by Skippers Møbler. The sofa is upholstered in genuine soft Dark Brown coloured Leather, with the trademark button and stitch detailing to all cushions, this being typical of the Skippers design. The piece is quintessentially 60s, with a an elegant low slung profile and linear edges. All six removable cushions have also been newly refoamed, and are therefore very plump. The whole piece is raised upon four tapering and turned stained Beech wood legs below. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
