Description: An elegant Norwegian 1970s ‘Kleppe Stolen’ lounge chair, designed by Gisele Carlsen and manufactured by Kleppe Mobelfabrikk. The chair is upholstered with a single cushion, upholstered in genuine and soft Tan coloured Leather, with button detail to both the seat and backrest. The cushion is suspended within the frame by a canvas backing, which also features Leather strap detailing further supporting the cushion. The piece features a really elegant open bentwood Beech frame, with shaped arms and base supports. Purchased in Scandinavia, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
