Description: A very stylish Danish 1960s ‘Matador’ lounge chair, designed by Aage Christiansen and manufactured by Erhardsen & Andersen (Eran). The chair is upholstered in genuine and thick Tan Brown coloured Leather, with its iconic sweeping arms, this being symbolic of the Matador design. The piece also features chunky outer stitching detail around the arms and edges of the cushions, something not found on all Matador pieces. The chair is then raised upon four elegant turned and tapered Beech wood legs below. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
