Description: A very stylish Danish 1960s swivel lounge chair and matching stool, designed by Aage Christiansen and manufactured by Erhardsen & Andersen (Eran). The chair is a rare model not commonly found, as Aage Christiansen is often associated with the ‘Matador’ model of chair. Both pieces are upholstered in genuine and thick Brown coloured Leather, with subtle stitch detailing around the edges of the cushions. The chair in particular features ‘chunky’ circular armrests, a detail commonly found with Aage Christiansen pieces, and has a higher backrest with head cushion and winged sides for added comfort. The chair is then raised upon five star metal swivel base, with the stool being raised on a four point fixed metal base. Purchased in Denmark, these design classics are original pieces of Mid Century furniture.
