Description: An elegant Danish 1970s wingback lounge chair, in the famous Borge Mogensen style, designed by Georg Thams and produced by Vejen Polstermøbelfabrik. Please note we also have matching three seat Sofa and lowback lounge chair to accompany this chair, both of which can be found in separate listings respectively. The chair is upholstered in genuine thick and textured Brown Leather, with Leather piping around the arms and all cushions, the Leather being a trademark of the Georg Thams design quality. The chair features three fibre filled, squashy and plump removable cushions, with winged sides for added comfort. The profile of the piece, particularly the arms, are reminiscent of the original Mogensen design. The whole piece is then raised upon a Beech wood frame with four stained block Beech feet to each corner. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
