Description: A very stylish Danish 1960s ‘Matador’ 3 seat Sofa, designed by Aage Christiansen and manufactured by Erhardsen & Andersen. The sofa is upholstered in genuine Dark Brown coloured Leather, with subtle and complimentary stitch detailing around the edges of the cushions. The ‘Matador’ model is typically signified by its long sweeping arms and overall low slung profile, this being a quintessentially 60s design trait. The whole piece is then raised upon a very stylish pair of metal sleigh supports, each featuring a single leg to the front and a pair of splayed legs to the rear. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
