Description: A sumptuous and iconic Danish Model ‘2209’ sofa, designed by the famous Børge Mogensen, and manufactured by Fredericia Stolefabrik. Please note we also have a matching ‘2204’ Wing Lounge Chair which came from the same home as this sofa, this can be found in a separate listing. Like all of the Mogensen designed sofas by Fredericia, this piece is upholstered in thick, textured Leather of the highest quality, with piping detail around the edges of the cushions and sides of the frame. The colour is arguably one of the most sought after and is a beautiful Tan, which has aged perfectly with the piece. The sofa has six removable cushions in total, with the model defining curved profile to either side of the piece. The sofa features a Beech frame internally, with the sofa being raised on four Teak block feet to each corner. The sofa is 100% genuine and authentic, with every design detail and material exact to how it should be, with the original Fredericia manufacturers and model label still present and intact to the underside.
